The Visuals of Life

As you know, I've been playing with the look of the blog lately. Thanks to the incredible Jennifer Sprague, the website was updated a few months back, and the response has been terrific. I never thought that something like changing the background or the banner would lead to increased traffic. But after both the blog and the website got a small makeover, the numbers jumped dramatically. Last month, traffic on the site increased over 25% with a total hit count of over 21,000, and the blog in the past few days has gotten more traffic than usual...and that's without a new post (I'll try not to take it personally :- ).

Is it just me, or do you think that changing the template, background, color font, etc, really makes a difference when it comes to traffic to your site?
